August 11, Xiaomi previously announced that the Mix Fold 2 folding screen phone will be officially released tonight at 7 pm in Lei Jun’s annual speech. Today, Xiaomi officially released the official rendering of the Mix Fold 2.

As seen in the images, the Xiaomi MixFold 2 rear image module is a matrix design that spans the entire back of the body. The camera has three lenses on the rear, with the main camera module being more massive, hinting at its larger sensor size. The other two secondary cameras are located to the right of the main camera and are divided by a line that goes up and down.

The image module has the Leica logo on the upper right and the lens parameters on the lower right, but it is not sure what the opening on the left side of the word “LEICA” is. The bottom of the fuselage is printed with the “Xiaomi” logo, unlike the Xiaomi 12S series, which has a horizontal Xiaomi logo, supposedly because the Mix Fold 2 is a folding screen phone with less horizontal grip.

In addition, Xiaomi also officially offers a bag-style case for the Mix Fold 2, which allows you to carry the phone on your back after placing it in the case as a wearable accessory.

The digital blogger @digitalchat station today broke the news that the camera is equipped with a horizontal matrix large base triple camera module, Leica VARIO-SUMMICRON, with an aperture of f / 1.8 – f / 2.6, focal length of 15mm-45mm, equivalent to 2 times the optical variation.

According to the blogger @panda is bald, the three rear cameras are a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony IMX766 sensor, support OIS optical stabilization), a 13-megapixel lens (Howie ov13b), 2x telephoto lens.

The Xiaomi wallet opening screen previously exposed the MIX Fold 2 back. In other configurations, the official preview said Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 using self-research integrated micro water drop form spindle so that its unfolded thickness of only 5.4mm.

According to the previous news, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2’s external screen resolution reached 2520 x 1080, the ratio of 21:9, back to the mainstream screen ratio, no longer “remote control”. Both the inner and outer screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, where the outer screen is Samsung E5 material, and the inner screen is Samsung Eco² OLED (compared to the traditional power consumption reduced by 25%). The total cost of the screen is more than 4,000, the most expensive in the industry.

The device will be equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, folded thickness is 11.4mm, and the whole machine weighs 262g. In terms of battery life, it has a built-in 4500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.
