Xiaomi is preparing for the release of its upcoming generation of a foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. It will be powered by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is expected to bring many improvements under the hood compared to its predecessor. The folding machine is soon going to land on the market.

As for the release timeline of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, we still don’t have any official confirmation on the same. Meanwhile, a report is hovering online on the Internet which claims the launch time of the forthcoming MIX Fold 2 device. Known tipster Abhishek Yadav on Twitter has posted a tweet claiming that MIX Fold 2 will launch officially in the month of August 2022. We’re just a few days away from the month of August and hence we can expect an official announcement or teaser reading of the device in a few days or maybe in a week.
The upcoming Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 was actually reported as model number 22061218C by the TENAA certification. According to the listings, it will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB of onboard storage. Prior to this, the device was listed on 3C certification, which makes it clear that it has a 67W charging capacity. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. The internal and external displays will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a respective aspect ratio of 10.3:9 and 21:9.
