Xiaomi Mix Flip screen revealed: Light Hunter 800 main camera + 1.5K screen

Foreign technology media Android Headlines recently published a blog post and shared information about the camera, screen and other related information of the Xiaomi MIX Flip folding screen phone by mining the HyperOS source code.

According to the exposed information, the Xiaomi MIX Flip folding screen phone will use the Light Hunter 800 (ovx8000) camera sensor. Summary of the relevant information as follows:

Light Hunter 800
Light Hunter 800 is currently installed on the Redmi K70 Pro phone for the first time. It is a 50-megapixel sensor.

The sensor uses a 1/1.55-inch photosensitive area, a 2.0μm pixel size and a dynamic range of 13.2EV; the Light Hunter 800 sensor is a new sensor jointly developed by Xiaomi and Howey to provide a better photo experience.

Omnivision OV60A
According to HyperOS source code information, the Xiaomi MIX Flip folding screen phone will also be equipped with an Omnivision OV60A sensor with a resolution of 60 million pixels, a sensor size of 1/2.8 inches, and a pixel size of 0.61µm.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro, Edge 30 Ultra and many other smartphones use OV60A, but mainly the OV60A is used on the front of the phone as a selfie camera, while Xiaomi chose to put it on the back of the MIX Flip foldable phone.

According to the leaked news, MIX Flip will come with a small screen right below the camera section. This screen allows you to check notifications and take selfies using the rear camera.

To this end, Xiaomi has included the OV60A in the MIX Flip. You also get 2x optical zoom thanks to the OV60A camera sensor.

Omnivision OV32B
Xiaomi MIX Flip will be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. OV32B was used in models like Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Motorola Edge 40.

Screen

Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro and Redmi K70 Pro have screen resolutions of 2K and density settings of 560, while the Mi MIX Flip has a value of 520, so it is inferred that the Mi MIX Flip will come with a 1.5K resolution, which is lower than 2K.
