Today the patent for an “integrated wearable device” applied by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. was authorized.
The patent abstract shows that the all-in-one wearable device includes: a Bluetooth headset, glasses and a charging component. The glasses include a frame and a charging component inside the frame. Through the principle that the piezoelectric material in the glasses is pressurized to generate electricity, the mechanical energy that the human body moves to drive the built-in ball rolling is converted into electrical energy, thereby charging the rechargeable battery, effectively realizing the self-charging of the built-in rechargeable battery, and through the magnetic suction. The first wire of the interface is connected to the glasses frame and the Bluetooth headset, so that the rechargeable battery in the glasses can charge the Bluetooth headset, thereby preventing the Bluetooth headset from being unable to use due to sudden power shortage, and effectively improving the user’s product experience.
There have been many technical reports on converting the kinetic energy of the human body into electrical energy before, but there is no such commercial product on the market. Although this charging method is not very powerful, it is very suitable for charging. For wearable devices that consume little power, we look forward to Xiaomi being able to apply this patent to real products as soon as possible.
