Xiaomi is preparing to release its upcoming smartphone in mainland China, the Xiaomi CIVI 2. A new report has started hovering online which mentions that the Xiaomi CIVI 2 might launch this month i.e. September 2022 itself. The Chinese tech giant maybe has started gearing up for the launch of the product and we may get to see some official teasers and announcements regarding the device in the coming days.
Xiaomi CIVI 2 launch timeline leaked online; could launch this month
According to the latest report released by Xiaomiui, the latest MIUI code with build number V13.0.1.0.SLLCNXM has reportedly aimed at the launch timeline of the forthcoming Xiaomi CIVI 2 smartphone. The report further mentions that the CIVI 2 might launch in China this month and will be soon launched in the global markets as a rebranded smartphone.
It has been said that the device will launch in global markets as Xiaomi 12 Lite NE 5G or Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G. However, we don’t have any official information on the same so you can take this information with a pinch of salt. The phone has been spotted with the codename ‘Ziyi’. The report has further specifically mentioned that the device will not launch in India.

The Xiaomi CIVI 2 will boot up on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Furthermore, it has been said that it will offer a 120Hz high refresh rate AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. The device might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chipset. It will launch with a ~4500mAh battery with the support for 67W fast wired charging.
