Xiaomi Mobile officially announced that it will release its new phone, the Xiaomi Civi 2, on September 27th at 2 p.m. The official announcement was followed by the first real picture of the phone and the announcement of its “trendy partner” Hello Kitty, which will be co-branded by both parties. The new model will have a new look.
As seen in the poster, the ripple effect on the back of the Xiaomi Civi 2 body is highly consistent with Hello Kitty, so I wonder if a corresponding kit version will be released this time with this hand-me-down accessory.
As for the body of the phone, you can see that the rear camera module of the Xiaomi Civi 2 inherits some of the Xiaomi 12’s design language, introducing a lens split line and continuing to come with a triple camera solution.
However, the two cameras at the top are placed in the same circle, looking horizontally like Hello Kitty’s eyes.
The logo on the rear camera also shows that the Xiaomi Civi 2 will feature a 50MP primary camera, presumably with either the IMX707 or IMX766.
As for performance, previous revelations have indicated that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s new generation Snapdragon 7, built using Samsung’s 4nm process, with more performance than its predecessor’s 778G and significantly upgraded support for imaging.
