According to information obtained by Late Auto, Xiaomi’s first model is a mid-sized slide-back sedan (internal code name Modena Modena). It will be divided into two versions, with internal discussions suggesting that one version will be positioned in the 260,000-300,000 yuan range and the other above 350,000 yuan.
The Daily Economic News found that the entire factory area is approximately rectangular in shape, with the northernmost end starting from Xin Si Road adjacent to the Hechuang Industrial Center and extending south along Xin Fang Road for a length of about 1,200 meters and a width of more than 500 meters, through a site visit to the construction site of the first phase of the Xiaomi car factory.
