Xiaomi Group announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange today that the board of directors awarded a total of 189,786,414 rewarded shares to 4110 marked participants on March 27 according to the share reward plan. Calculated based on the closing price of HK$12 per share on the award day, the total value of the shares is HK$2.277 billion (currently about RMB 1.997 billion).
In 2022 Xiaomi Group’s revenue will be RMB 280 billion, and its adjusted net profit will be RMB 8.5 billion. Smartphone business revenue was RMB 167.2 billion, global smartphone shipments were 150.5 million units, and the annual average sales price of smartphones reached RMB 1,111, a record high.
By the end of 2022, Xiaomi Group has a total of 16,171 R&D personnel, an increase of 1,579 from the end of the previous year, and a total of 32,543 full-time employees, a decrease of 884 from the end of the previous year. That is to say, the number of non-R&D personnel has decreased by more than 2,400.
In 2022, the total salary expenses of Xiaomi Group (including share-based salary expenses) will be RMB 16.6 billion, an increase of about 20% over the previous year, and the average annual salary of employees will be RMB 510,000, which will be RMB 410,000 in 2021. The average monthly salary in 2022 and 2021 is RMB 42,500 and RMB 34,400, respectively.
