According to feedback from netizens, the Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra phone has now been tested and updated to support 5G-A (5.5G). The version number is 1.0.9.0.UNACNXM and the installation package size is 527 MB.
The main update content:
Newly added convenient entrances to satellite communications and Tiantong services to enjoy the satellite experience;
Added 5G-A capability to experience the ultimate speed of 5G (the actual status depends on the local operator’s network and service deployment);
Incorporate the April 2024 security patch to enhance system security.
China Mobile officials previously revealed the actual 5G-A measurement of Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra, and the downlink rate exceeded 5Gbps, reaching 5132.34 Mbps. Xiaomi also expressed congratulations to China Mobile Group for the world’s first commercial deployment of 5G-A. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will work with China Mobile to introduce more new 5G-A features, hoping to reach new highs in latency and speed.
As for other manufacturers, OPPO Find X7 Ultra has launched a 5.5G network upgrade package. The Vivo X Fold3 series, vivo X100 series, and iQOO 12 series are also confirmed to support 5.5G networks. Honor Jiang Hairong said that the entire Magic6 series already supports 5.5G networks, but there is no 5G-A logo.
