Xiaomi 13 series which become the next-gen flagship for 2023 with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station revealed key detail of the upcoming 2023 Xiaomi flagship below.

According to the tipster, Xiaomi 13 series has revealed to sport 2K display and 120Hz refresh rate. The regular variant will use the same 2K screen resolution as the Mi 11, which is the older model. Whilst, recent model (Xiaomi 12) used Full HD as the max resolution instead of 2K on its regular variant.

And the tipster mentioned that the alleged Xiaomi 13 series would come with a flat-screen and curved screen model, which is a standard screen design for the current flagship nowadays. Which indicates the pro variant will exist as well.

It also hinted that the Full HD and 165Hz refresh rate variant is mentioned, although it is still unknown what model it is. It could be the next-gen Black Shark 6 series.

In addition, the screen tech will also harness E6 AMOLED technology. It is mentioned it will not only relying only on Samsung as the main supplier. But it also stated it will use local AMOLED suppliers as well. The local supplier’s names are still undisclosed, but we can expect that the local supplier could also deliver as well as Samsung in every aspect.

Given that Xiaomi 13 series will become the first phone to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is planned to be launched on November 14th-17th. It will be manufactured by TSMC, while still using the 4nm process.

The phone will be released around November this year. With many phones coming soon in December with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as well.
