However, it’s looking like the brand has also started working on its forthcoming Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone. The testing of the device has been started, and now, a live image of an engineering unit of the smartphone has been leaked online.

Known tipster Xiaomi Updates Philippines on Twitter has shared the live image of an engineering unit of the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone. From the live image, we can conclude that the device will have a similar display as compared to the Xiaomi 12 Pro. A curved screen with centre aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera can be seen in the image.
Moreover, the image also reveals some specifications of the device. The images confirm that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset with 12GB of RAM. It will also support virtual RAM expansion as 3GB of expanded RAM can also be seen. Further, the device will boot up on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 right out of the box. The build number is also identified as 2210132C. The “C” at the end of the build number confirms that it’s the Chinese unit of the device.
