Xiaomi has previously announced the opening of Android 13 MIUI new system testing, and according to sources, Xiaomi’s next big system version is not MIUI 13.5, but directly on the MIUI 14.
The microblogger @DigitalChat has already talked about MIUI 14 and is expected to bring some new details to the table. According to the system development progress, Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 system will be based on the latest Android 13 system.
The blogger previously revealed that the communication App bubble notification (adapted to domestic instant messaging App) tested in MIUI 13 and the local OCR (picture text recognition), which is temporarily exclusive to the new machine, will also be integrated in the next major version of the system.
xiaomiui.net reports that MIUI 14 has been spotted in the code base, and the Xiaomi 13 phone codenamed Nuwa will come with MIUI 14.
Recently, the latest information from Xiaomi community shows that Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Redmi K50G have gone live with the new Android 13-based MIUI version recruitment.
Xiaomi previously announced that starting from the Android 13-based MIUI, MIUI will focus on “development” and “official” versions. The development version of MIUI will be updated weekly, while the official version will be updated according to user usage. The development version and the official version will gradually realize the switch between versions without clearing data.
