Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro in China in December last year. The devices were introduced to the global market just a month ago. But it seems like Xiaomi is already preparing for its successor, the Xiaomi 13 series.
Just yesterday, Xiaomiui revealed that the Xiaomi 13 series has appeared on Xiaomi’s IMEI database. This is direct evidence that the company is already working on the 13 series phones. Reportedly, the new Xiaomi 13 device is designated 2211133C and 2211133G model numbers for the Chinese and global markets respectively. Similarly, the Xiaomi 13 Pro bares the 2210132C and 2210132G model numbers.

The sources are also saying that the company is likely targeting a November release date, based on this evidence. Xiaomi released both Mi 11 and Xiaomi 12 in the month of December in the past. So, the November release date is a bit ahead of the usual schedule. But at the moment, this is all just speculation.
Rumors also suggest that the Xiaomi 13 series devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation processors, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which is rumored to launch later this year. Xiaomi is leading the charge with the adaptation of Qualcomm’s flagship chipset and if the company plans to do so with the next flagship chipset, then the Xiaomi 13 series could be launched earlier than expected.
