Xiaomi 13 series is set to launch soon in China. The lineup was originally scheduled to launch today, but it has been supposedly postponed to the coming week. Today, tipster Panda is Bald shared some key information on the cameras and batteries of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro.
Xiaomi 13
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 13’s rear camera setup will have a 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary camera with OIS support. It will be coupled with a 12-megapixel OmniVision ultra-wide lens and an OIS-assisted 10-megapixel Samsung S5K3K1 telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom. The same telephoto snapper is also available on the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
The Xiaomi 13 will house a 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging support. It will also support 50W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 13 Pro
The rear camera seutp of the Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 (1-inch) camera sensor with OIS support. It will be coupled with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 telephoto camera with support for OIS and 3.2x optical zoom.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will pack a 4,820mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. Both phones will be equipped with the Surge G1 power management chip.
In the comments of his Weibo posts, he shared several other details about the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. These devices will have a 6.36-inch FHD+ and a 6.73-inch 2K display, respectively. Both have a 32-megapixel front camera. The blue variant of both phones has plain leather back and whereas the color variants have a glass / ceramic back. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a cyber-engine linear motor, which was first seen on the Redmi K50 Gaming.
