Xiaomi’s official announcement that Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Redmi K50 gaming version for the first time released the Android 13-based MIUI development version.
Xiaomi said in the announcement that in order to bring a relatively better experience, Redmi Note11 5G, Redmi Note 9 4G and Xiaomi 12S Pro are being further tested for system stability and the test results will be out later.
The Redmi K50 Pro has been released in V13.1.22.9.16.DEV for users recruited through the Android 13-based MIUI development version.
Due to a major Android release upgrade, the Redmi K40S has been suspended from the release of Android 12-based MIUI Developer Edition as of September 23, 2022.
Due to the change in the software system architecture, the version number of some models in the development version has been changed.
Note that starting October 31, 2022, the following models will be closed for public beta testing.

The announcement states that some models may have the problem of desktop icons moving up under certain circumstances, which is expected to be fixed in next week’s version; if users encounter the problem of flashing SMS, they can update SMS to the latest version via App Store – My – App Update.
