According to the online Lexus LM product manual, when the SRS airbag inflates and deploys, the windshield may shatter, the hybrid system will stop supplying fuel to the engine, and all doors will unlock. However, the manual has another clause that says, “Depending on the force of the impact or the type of accident, the system (collision detection door lock contact system) may not work.”
