Windows Virtual Desktop Helper is a virtual desktop gadget for Windows that helps users use virtual desktops more wisely to improve productivity. The application already supports Win10 and Win11 stable versions, and in the recently released version 1.8 update the application added support for Win11 Developer Preview.


The main improvements and fixes of Windows Virtual Desktop Helper 1.8 are as follows

Foreign technology media NeoWin ran well when testing version 1.8 in Windows 11 development channel Build 25247. The default position of the overlay is in the center (as shown in the image below), but one can move it up or down, left or right in the settings. There are also options in the settings to make the overlay semi-transparent, add a gradient effect, and choose the overlay duration.
