Two weeks ago, Apple officially released the iPhone 14 series, with the Pro version featuring the unprecedented Dynamic Island design. According to Apple’s plan, the system and App will be specially adapted for the Dynamic Island, which will be deeply integrated with the top cutout, bringing some new functions while also greatly hiding the top cutout, for example, some message notification pop-ups will be displayed through the Dynamic Island.
However, at the beginning of the release only the system comes with the function available, the third-party App did not adapt, for example, WeChat’s pop-up window will appear below the dugout, which looks very strange.
This afternoon, WeChat launched a new version 8.0.29 for iOS, the introduction of which says it fixes some compatibility issues between iOS 16 and iPhone 14 series.
According to blogger WHYLAB’s real-world testing, this version still didn’t make it to Dynamic Island, and the message bar is still displayed below the dugout.
It should be noted that this is also not a unilateral problem of WeChat, according to previous relevant reports, Apple has not yet opened the API to third parties, which means that developers are not yet able to adapt it, and most of them are currently only adapted to the lock screen widget.
