WeChat iOS platform ushered in the 8.0.27 official update.
Apple App Store shows that WeChat iOS version 8.0.27 has solved some known problems, but no specific update has been announced. In addition, in the recent update, WeChat can open “Care Mode” with larger and clearer text and buttons.
In iOS 8.0.27, WeChat supports the management of personal information and permissions in Public. Users can view it through Public – Personal Information and Permissions Management.
In addition, WeChat iOS version 8.0.27 also brings “Consumer Protection” features, including Help Center, Security, Privacy, Agreement and Publicity, and Consumer Education. Users can check it through “Services – Wallet – Consumer Protection”.
This update to WeChat for iOS comes a month after the previous version (8.0.26), which was released on July 20.
In version 8.0.26, WeChat supports message notification banners when opened. When the feature is turned on, users can view and reply to messages in the banner that appears at the top of the screen. In addition, the chat input box has also been updated to include a pull-up option to bring up a full-screen input window when more than two lines are entered, or tap “Full-Screen Mode” on the input option.
