The Voyah Dreamer EV series has added a new model called the Super Long Range Excellent Edition, with an official guide price of 389,900 RMB. For reference, the price range of the 2024 Voyah Dreamer EV is 339,900-689,900 RMB.
It is noticed that the newly launched Extra Long Battery Excellence Edition has been upgraded on the basis of the Long Battery Excellence Edition. The price difference between the two models is 50,000 RMB. The main change is that the Extra Long Battery Excellence Edition uses the capacity provided by CATL. The 108.73 kWh ternary lithium battery pack enables the vehicle’s pure electric cruising range to reach 650 kilometers under CLTC conditions, which is 140 kilometers longer than the long-range excellent version. However, compared with the higher-priced ultra-long battery life premium version (419,900 RMB), the ultra-long battery life excellent version is 30,000 RMB cheaper in price, but lacks active safety warning, active braking, and line merging in terms of configuration. Assistance, lane keeping, lane centering, full-speed adaptive cruise, front seat ventilation/heating/massage, second-row tray table, voice zone control, interior ambient lighting, rear soundproof glass, heat pump management system and many other configurations , so the price/performance ratio is not outstanding.
In terms of power system, the ultra-long-range premium version maintains a dual-motor layout. The motors have a combined maximum power of 320 kilowatts and a peak torque of 620 Nm. The launch of the new model has lowered the entry price of the ultra-long-range model. The original entry price was 419,900 RMB. Despite this, its price-performance ratio is not high in terms of configuration, and this model is more suitable for consumers with limited budget but higher requirements for cruising range.
According to recent sales data, the cumulative sales of Voyah Dreamer EV in the past six months was 2,030 units, compared with its competitors Denza D9 EV (2,587 units), Zeekr 009 (7,279 units) and Xpeng X9 (7,872 units) , there is still a certain gap.
