Volkswagen has now released a teaser sketch of the new ID.3, and announced that the new car will be launched in the spring of 2023. At present, the new ID.3 has opened reservations in Germany, including 4 models, starting at 43,995 euros (about 322,800 RMB), and it is planned to start delivery in the fourth quarter of 2023.
As a mid-term facelift model, the new ID.3 will be optimized in appearance, equipped with a newly designed front bumper, the 10-inch central control screen will be upgraded to 12 inches, and the LED headlights and taillights will also be adjusted. The interior will increase the application of environmentally friendly materials.
According to reports, the new ID.3 is equipped with the latest generation of software, which improves system performance and can receive OTA wireless updates, and supports Plug & Charge charging.
Also, standard equipment has been upgraded: it now includes a 12-inch display, a removable boot floor and a center console with two cupholders.
The new model is an overseas version. It is unclear how the new models of FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC-Volkswagen will be adjusted. However, SAIC-Volkswagen’s 2023 ID.3, ID.4 X, and ID.6 X are on the market, starting at 149,888 RMB.
