Volkswagen ID.3 GTX will be available in 2023, 100km acceleration is expected to be less than 6S

Volkswagen released the ID.5 SUV in Austria. When he was asked about the Volkswagen ID.3 GTX, he replied:

“Of course, the project is ongoing. For the facelift of the ID.3 … we will get some very interesting details, of course, we believe that the customer’s expectation of more power is there, because of the four-wheel drive, the customer’s desire It’s what we have to satisfy.”

Volkswagen insiders said that the ID.3 GTX project is underway, and the new car will get some more interesting details. The ID.X concept car is so powerful.

When Volkswagen first released the ID series, it hinted at an electric model similar to the Golf R. A few months later, sources in Wolfsburg announced that a production model would be launched at some point, but did not provide an exact timetable.

Like the GTX’s performance SUV, the new Volkswagen ID.3 GTX will feature a four-wheel drive system with a front-mounted motor. Considering that the ID.5 GTX takes 6.2 seconds to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill, the ID.3 GTX should be expected to perform in less than 6 seconds because it is lighter.

Volkswagen ID.3 GTX was approved for production in September 2021, and VW CEO Ralf Brandstätter revealed the ID.X concept a few months ago, promising up to 329 hp (245 kW / 333 hp), but The final production version doesn’t have that much power.

The model will use the same dual-motor powertrain as the ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX SUVs, with a combined output of 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) and a battery capacity of 77 kWh. Positioning is roughly between the Golf GTI and Golf R.
