FAW-Volkswagen’s 2022 annual sales data shows that FAW-Volkswagen will cumulatively sell 1,823,577 new cars (including imported Audi cars) in 2022.
Among them, the terminal sales of the Volkswagen brand were 1,041,077 vehicles, the terminal sales of Audi brand were 635,588 vehicles (including imported cars), and the terminal sales of Jetta brand were 146,912 vehicles.
FAW-Volkswagen Director, Secretary of the Party Committee, and General Manager Pan Zhanfu said in his New Year’s message in 2023 that FAW-Volkswagen has added a variety of new energy and hybrid products to its future-oriented product lineup. A series of important new deployments have been made.
According to reports, in the new year, FAW-Volkswagen will continue to adhere to user-centered and intelligent transformation and upgrading of all coefficients, focus on key business areas and key projects and accelerate the realization of high-efficiency transformation and growth under the strategic guidance of both shareholders.
In addition, the data released by the Passenger Federation yesterday showed that the national retail sales of passenger vehicles in the narrow sense will reach 20.543 million in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%. Among them, BYD Auto won the championship with retail sales of 1.805 million vehicles, with a market share of 8.8%; FAW-Volkswagen ranked second with sales of 1.779 million vehicles, with a market share of 8.7%.
