VMware Workstation 17.0.1 Pro Update Released, Fixes Inability to Connect USB Devices

VMware Workstation Pro, the popular virtual machine software, has received a version 17.0.1 update, more than a month after the last update.

The official changelog shows that this version resolves issue CVE-2023-20854, which caused a malicious actor with local user privileges on the victim machine to potentially exploit this vulnerability to delete arbitrary files from the file system of a machine with Workstation installed.
