VMware has released a technical preview of Fusion 22H2 for Mac users. This free virtualization software for macOS brings long-awaited Windows 11 support to Apple Silicon and Intel, enabling Macs to run Microsoft’s latest operating system side-by-side with macOS.

With VMware Fusion 22H2 Technology Preview, Mac users can create Windows 11 hardware-compliant virtual machines.
Fusion now supports TPM 2.0, the Virtual Trusted Platform module with fast encryption, providing better performance and a secure enclave for sensitive data (there is also an option to fully encrypt a virtual machine).
In addition, to support TPM 2.0, VMware Fusion 22H2 brings a WDDM driver for 2D graphics that allows users to operate Windows virtual machines at high screen resolutions.
