Vivo has launched yet another new Y-series smartphone in China. The newly released Vivo Y77e is a 5G-oriented smartphone offering some decent set of specifications like the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G mobile chipset, dual rear cameras, 5000mAh battery and much more. The Vivo Y77e 5G flaunts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ 1080*2408 pixel resolution, 60Hz standard refresh rate, over 90% screen-to-body ratio, and 180Hz touch sampling rate support. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It will boot up on Android 12-based OriginOS skin out of the box.
As for the optics, we get a dual rear camera setup on the back with a 13-megapixels primary wide sensor and a 2-megapixels secondary macro camera. On the front, we have an 8-megapixel front selfie snapper housed in a waterdrop notch cutout. A few of the features supported by the camera unit include super HDR, multilayer portrait, slow-motion, panorama, live photo, and super night mode.

The device packs a 5000mAh battery with the support of 18W fast wired charging. The brand claims that it can provide up to 25 days of stand time on a single full charge. It comes with a side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner and face unlock support for the privacy and security of the device. The device measures a dimension of 164x75x8.25mm and weighs around 194 grams.
Vivo V77e 5G; pricing and availability
The Vivo Y77e 5G comes in three different variants; 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The 8GB+128GB variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (~$251). As of now, the pricing of other variants is unknown. The device will be available in Crystal Black, Crystal Powder, and Summer Listening to the Sea (translated) colour options.
