A new device popped up on TENAA, and it is assumably the Vivo Y77 5G. There are some rumours that this device will launch under the Vivo flagship X-series. Despite this, some tipsters remain resolute that this device with the model number V2219A will launch as a Y-series device.

From available information, the launch of this device might fall within the month of July. The device which is currently on the TENAA listing will accompany a Y77 Pro model. They will both come with some mid-range flagship specifications. Here is a brief rundown of what we can expect from the coming Vivo Y77 device.

The screen on this Vivo device is a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display. There is no information on the exact processor of this device, but rumours claim that it’d be a MediaTek processor. What we know at this moment is that it will be a 2.2GHz octa-core 5G processor, this places the processor within range of the MediaTek Dimensity 930.

Other available information relating to its memory and storage capacity shows off a 12GB worth of RAM and 512GB worth of storage. These numbers prove true to the fact that the Vivo Y77 5G will be a mid-range flagship device. It’d as well come with a dual camera setup, housing a 50MP main camera and a 2MP additional lens.

Battery life on this device will radiate from a 4380mAh dual cell battery. This machine will charge at 88W, making it the first Vivo Y-series device to reach such a charging speed. The operating system on this device might be Android 12 on Vivo’s in-house Android skin. Vivo Y77 5G will come in black and white colour options, information regarding pricing and availability will come from Vivo at the launch of the Y77-series.
