Earlier this month, Vivo launched the Vivo Y22 entry-level phone in India. The phone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G70 chip and features a 6.5-inch LCD waterdrop screen. vivo Y22 phone has just been released, and Vivo will release another new phone in India.
According to 91mobiles today, sources say that Vivo will launch the Vivo Y16 phone in India this week. The phone will be priced at INR12,499 (about Rs. 1,101.16), targeting the low to mid-range market. According to reports, the Vivo Y16 phone will feature a 6.51-inch HD+ resolution waterdrop display, a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front, a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera on the back.
In terms of performance, the Vivo Y16 phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, equipped with 4GB + 64GB storage, supporting up to 1TB Micro SD card expansion. In terms of battery life, the Vivo Y16 phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery, which is charged through the USB-C interface. In terms of system, the Vivo Y16 phone will run on the Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 system.
The Helio P35 chip is powered by an octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU with a maximum frequency of 2.3GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU with a maximum frequency of 680MHz. The Helio P35 is based on TSMC’s 12nm FinFET process and focuses on low power consumption, which will provide long battery life.
