The budget entry-level smartphone market is welcoming a new device entry, the Vivo Y02. This device has made an appearance on the company’s Indonesian website, flexing its specifications and features. For a budget entry-level device, this device comes with some impressive features ranging from its design to specification.
One of the top features of this device is its design, despite coming with an entry-level price, Vivo made the Y02 a delight to behold. It comes with a thin design and 2.5D flat frames, giving it that premium feels on a budget. The camera cutout on this device is bold and eye-catching and so are its colour options Cosmic Grey and Orchid Blue.

As for the screen size here, the Vivo Y02 comes with a 6.51-inch LCD IPS HD+ screen display. One shouldn’t expect blazing-fast refresh rates on this device since it is a budget entry-level smartphone. The screen also comes with a waterdrop notch that houses the front-facing camera.
Speaking of cameras, this device only has two of those, one at the rear and one at the front. The rear camera on the Vivo Y02 is an 8MP shooter which sits in a fancy circular cutout with a flashlight. Inside the waterdrop, a screen cutout sits the 5MP selfie camera. Vivo says that this device comes equipped with a ton of photography modes, but buyers shouldn’t expect much in terms of picture quality.
For its software, the Vivo Y02 runs Android 12 (Go edition) alongside Funtouch OS 12 which brings extra features and customizations. The 5000mAh battery capacity on this device can deliver up to 18 hours of screen time to its users. There is little said about its processor, but the Y02 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. For its pricing, this device starts at just under $100, and it only had one storage option.
