Vivo X90 Pro+ image specifications revealed: four high-end lenses and V2 chip

Vivo will hold a dual-core X image technology communication meeting this afternoon, no surprise then will announce a series X90 series that will bring new technology, and new programs.

The tipster @Ben Geskin now brings some parameters about the Vivo X90 Pro +, which will feature a 50MP Sony IMX 989 wide-angle lens as the main camera, complemented by a 48MP IMX598 super wide-angle lens, a 50MP IMX758 portrait lens, and a 64MP Howell OV64B telephoto lens with 100x digital zoom support.

In addition, the camera will also have the Zeiss co-branded small blue label, support for custom color filters, and Vivo V2 chip support, known as the “image beast”.

He also released an engineering render of the Vivo X90 Pro+, saying that Vivo was torn between the 8MP 5x telephoto lens (X80 Pro+) or the 64MP 3.5x lens, but now it seems to have chosen the latter.

The new CMOS will have a larger area and a 77% increase in light sensitivity over the Samsung GNV in the X80 Pro. The new CMOS will be a 1-inch Sony IMX989, according to the leak.

In addition, the next generation of products will be equipped with the “Vault Night View System”, based on million-night shots trained on three super-sensitive models, to increase the light sensitivity power by up to 100% and ISO up to 102400.

In terms of portraits, Vivo’s next-generation products will be equipped with the “Super Sensitive Portrait System” and a new 50mm portrait lens, which will beautify details at the micron level through portrait understanding + portrait beautification + portrait atmosphere. In addition, the front soft selfie will also be upgraded to support an autofocus lens and micro slit dual soft light.

Vivo also announced the next generation of its own chip (no indication of whether it is V2), upgraded from traditional ISP architecture to AI-ISP architecture, combining the advantages of AI and ISP to achieve a data throughput rate of 1.3 trillion bits/s, an ultra-high energy efficiency ratio of 16.3 Tops/w and a 20% improvement in night video noise reduction.
