Vivo X90 lineup will offer larger battery capacities

Chinese tech-giant Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the Vivo X90 lineup of smartphones. The series will offer Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro and the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 Pro+ smartphone. The series is expected to launch in mainland China in the month of December and will be later launched in the global markets. Now, a piece of information is hovering online which says that the upcoming lineup will offer upgraded larger battery capacities.

Vivo X90 series to have upgraded battery capacities

Known tipster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo has revealed the battery capacities of the upcoming Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+ smartphones. The tipster has also confirmed that the devices will utilize dual-cell battery technology. The vanilla X90 will pack two batteries of 2290mAh which combined become the 4700mAh.

Vivo X90 Pro

The X90 Pro will have two batteries of 2375mAh, giving you a combined output of 4870mAh. Last but not the least, the high-end Vivo X90 Pro+ will feature dual batteries of 2440mAh capacity each which will combine to give you an output of 5000mAh. So that was all information we have regarding the battery capacities of the forthcoming smartphones.

As for the specifications, previous rumours do tell us that the devices will be powered by the unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. They will further offer upgraded cameras with the pro models offering a huge 1-inch sensor for an unmatched photography experience. The Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset is expected to launch in the month of November, and the devices will launch after the release of the chipset, in the month of December.
