The Vivo X90 series has been in the works and is expected to launch by the end of this year. The series is expected to include three different smartphone models; Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro and the Vivo X90 Pro+. The new imaging flagship smartphones of the brand are expected to land with maxed-out specifications.
Vivo X90 series models listed online for Indian and Chinese markets
The latest report from PriceBaba claims that the Vivo smartphones with the model numbers V2242A and V2272A will land in Chinese markets as Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+ marketing names. Further, the report mentions that the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro will carry the model number for the Indian and global markets. However, there is no information on the model number of the vanilla X90 for China and the top-end X90 Pro+ for Indian and global markets.
Through firmware files, all of the aforementioned model numbers have been discovered. According to the source, firmware development has not yet begun for the Vivo X90 (China model) and Vivo X90 Pro+ (global variant). Therefore, it seems that verifying the model numbers of these gadgets can take some time.

According to a recent leak, the X90 includes a 4,700mAh battery, a 120W rapid charging feature, and a 1.5K AMOLED screen. It also contains a camera from the Sony IMX8 series. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 main camera, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX578 portrait lens, and an OmniVision OV64A periscope zoom lens with support for 3.5x optical zoom are all included in the X90 Pro+’s quad-camera setup. It also has LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging.
