Vivo official community announcement, Vivo Android 13 developer experience version will soon arrive, the first batch of models including iQOO 10, iQOO 10 Pro, Vivo X80 Pro.
Vivo official said, Vivo Android 13 developer experience version is only for developers and geek users (unofficial version), there may be instability factors, for ordinary users, it is strongly recommended not to use it, please download it carefully.
The users of these three models can already go to the Vivo developer platform to download the firmware package and then follow the steps below to burn it to the corresponding Vivo device. The steps to manually burn the firmware to the X80 Pro, for example, are as follows.
(1) Download the firmware of the Vivo X80 Pro Developer Experience package.
(2) After the device is connected to the computer, switch the USB setting of the phone to file transfer mode and copy the downloaded firmware package to the root directory of the X80 Pro phone storage.
(3) Follow the above steps, click Upgrade Package in Settings -> System Upgrade -> Local Upgrade, wait for the verification to complete and start the upgrade.
(4) Wait for the phone to finish the upgrade automatically.
Upgrade Notes
- After upgrading the system, please enter the Vivo app store to update all apps to the latest version.
- Please do the upgrade in a Wi-Fi network environment to avoid consuming too much data stream; meanwhile, the update time is long, please wait patiently until the upgrade is completed, and do not do other operations in the middle.
- To avoid data loss and other irreversible failures during the upgrade process, developers need to back up their data, before upgrading to Android 13 Developer Experience, you can use cloud service to back up or use Vivo assistant to back up.

- The current system version has more common three-party applications and Android 13 is incompatible, upgrade may appear third-party applications can not be used properly (such as flashing, lagging, black screen, power consumption, etc.), we recommend that you upgrade carefully.
- There is a low probability of system stability problems, such as fingerprint successfully unlocked after a low probability of triggering the phone reboot.
- The phone is connected to the Bluetooth device, background clear settings, re-enter the main interface of the settings, click search, there is a setting function flashback.
- Some three-party applications will probability appear splash screen.
- Atomic privacy system failed to share video to Weibo, prompting “Video format is not supported at the moment”.
- When the phone is in landscape, slide down the control center, the status bar shows that the current network status does not match the actual one.
X80 Pro:
- The current system version has more common three-party applications incompatible with Android 13, after upgrading, there may be third-party applications that can not be used normally (such as flashing, lagging, black screen, power consumption, etc.), we recommend you to upgrade carefully.
- After Bluetooth pairing the dual-mode headset, cancel the pairing. Search this device again, the phone only shows the address, the pairing connection shows normal.
- Phones connected to Bluetooth devices, background clear settings, re-enter the settings search, there is a setting function flashback.
- On the phone screen, slide down the control center, and the status bar shows the current state of the network does not match the actual.
- After opening the intelligent switching data card function, when the phone automatically switches the data card, probability does not send a prompt to inform the user.
- Connecting some smart car devices, there is a probability of connection failure.
- When the camera is set at 4K+30fps and the AI enhancement function is turned on, there is a probable jamming problem when recording video in the highlighted environment.
