Vivo recently unveiled the Vivo S17e in China. On May 31, it will announce the other S17-branded models. Three new Vivo phones with model numbers V2282A, V2283A, and V2284A have been approved by China’s TENAA authority. The V2283A and V2284A are the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro smartphones, whereas the V2282A could be the Vivo S17t.
Vivo S17 and S17t specifications
The Vivo S17 and S17t have a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved-edge display that offers 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution. Both have a 4,505mAh (rated value) battery, 8GB / 12GB /16GB of RAM, and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage.
The S17 and S17t have the same 50-megapixel front camera. On the back, both phones have a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system. Both devices measure 164.1 x 74.37 x 7.46mm and weigh 186 grams. The only noticeable difference between the two phones is that the Vivo S17 is powered by a 2.5GHz chip, which appears to be the Snapdragon 782G chip, whereas the S17t has an unknown 3GHz chipset.
Vivo S17 Pro specifications
The Vivo S17 Pro also features the same display and packs the same battery. It will also arrive in the same RAM and storage options. It has a 50-megapixel front camera, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple camera unit. The S17 Pro measures 164.18 x 74.37 x 7.46mm and weighs 188 grams.
These phones are expected to come with other common features, such as OriginOS 3.1-based Android, an IR blaster, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. At present, only the images of Vivo S17 Pro has appeared on TENAA.
