Last week, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the Vivo S17 and Vivo S17 Pro will come equipped with the Snapdragon 778G and Dimensity 8200 chipsets, respectively. Today, the tipster shared a few key specifications that will be available on both models.
Previous reports have claimed that the entire S17 lineup will have OLED panels with curved edges. DCS revealed that the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro will be equipped with BOE’s Q9 OLED panel that will offer a 1.5K resolution.
The rear camera setup on both phones will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto camera. Past reports have claimed that both phones will have OIS support for the primary camera.
The battery size of the Vivo S17 series is yet to be revealed. However, the new leak claims that both models will support 80W fast charging.
As per previous reports, the Vivo S17 lineup, which also includes the Vivo S17e, will come with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. The Pro model will be available in a 16GB RAM variant. The S17e, S17, and S17 Pro are said to have respective model numbers, such as V2285A, V2283A, and V2284A. The S17 series is expected to debut next month in China.
