Last month, Vivo unveiled the Vivo S15e mid-range phone with Exynos 1080 onboard in China. Today, the company took to its Weibo handle to confirm that it will be announcing the Vivo S15 series of smartphones at 7 PM on May 19. It appears that the company will also have some products alongside it.

It can be said based on recent reports that Vivo will be announcing the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro on May 19. As can be seen in the poster above, the company will also announce the new Vivo TWS Air earbuds. The poster also suggests that Vivo will also make new announcements on its existing Vivo Pad tablet and Vivo Watch 2. It will confirm the arrival of new variants or colour options for these products.
The reservations for both smartphones are live on Vivo China’s website and other Chinese retailer sites like JD.com and Suning. The reservation listings show that the Vivo S15 will come with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage, whereas the S15 Pro will offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is unclear whether these smartphones will arrive in other configurations.
Vivo S15, S15 Pro specifications (rumored)
Reports have revealed that the Vivo V2199A and V2203A, which have been approved by 3C and TENAA certification bodies of China, will launch with the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro monikers, respectively. The Vivo S15 is rumored to arrive with a 6.62-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It will feature a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera unit and a 16MP front camera for photography.

The Vivo S15 Pro will sport a 6.56-inch OLED screen that is powered by an independent display chip. It will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera. Both phones will run on the Android 12 OS and the OriginOS Ocean UI.
