Vivaldi 6.0 browser was officially released recently, and it is available for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android platforms. This update mainly introduces the Workspaces function and the toolbar supports custom icons.
Workspaces
Users can manage tags more efficiently through the workspace. Users distinguish tabs according to their needs (such as work, personal, etc.).
It is learned from the blog post that after users create 2 or more workspaces, they can click on the workspace name on the left, or use the Ctrl + Shift + number key shortcut to switch.
Tab grouping tools such as Tab Stacks and Tab Tiling are supported in each workspace.
Toolbar custom icons
Vivaldi 6.0 also introduces a custom icon feature for toolbars that can be used with themes. Users can search the theme library for icon sets like Win95, Hand Drawn, and Surf, or create their own from scratch.
