Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said in the latest tweet that the lossless audio of Apple’s Vision Pro headset is limited to USB-C AirPods Pro 2 headphones.
It was previously reported that the new USB-C AirPods Pro 2 has been upgraded to IP54 level (the original version is not dustproof, only IPX4 water-resistant) and can accompany users on adventures in harsh environments.
In addition, Apple said it will achieve lossless audio with ultra-low latency, thereby providing a perfect TWS solution through Apple Vision Pro.
According to reports, the H2 chip in the new AirPods Pro and Apple Vision Pro can be combined with a breakthrough wireless audio protocol to unleash powerful 20-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio and significantly reduce audio latency.
Mark Gurman said in his latest tweet that he has confirmed from Apple that the lossless audio experience of the Vision Pro headset does not apply to AirPods Pro 2 headphones using Lightning charging boxes.
Currently, the AirPods Pro 2 and EarPods headphones based on the USB-C interface are listed and the prices have not changed. AirPods Pro 2 is priced at 1,899 CNY and will be on sale from September 22; EarPods is priced at 149 CNY and is currently available for purchase.
