According to Deadline, game developer Poncle is working with new media company Story Kitchen to adapt the game “Vampire Survivors” into an animated series.
Luca Galante, founder of Poncle, said: “The most important thing in “Vampire Survivor” is the plot. My dream was to turn this small independent game into an animated TV series, and now it has come true.”
It was previously reported that this Xbox exclusive game beat “Elden Ring” and “God of War Ragnarok” to win the Best Game Award at the British Academy of Film Awards (BAFTA) .
Vampire Survivor is a Roguelike Beat ’em up video game developed and published by Luca Galante. It launches as an Early Access release on December 17, 2021. Players control an auto-attacking character while battling waves of enemies.
Xbox head Phil Spencer later tweeted his congratulations, writing “Congratulations to Poncle Games on this outstanding achievement. Recognized by the industry for their fantastic games.”
