Valve developers recently confirmed that the company is working on multiple games and that there are many employees working on new titles. Recently Japanese game magazine Famitsu interviewed Valve designer Greg Coomer, he said: “We haven’t stopped developing games at all. Valve is currently developing a lot of games. We will continue to release new games. Game development is important to Valve, I don’t know. Specific numbers, but the percentage of employees involved in making the game is really high. A lot of people are involved.”
When asked if there will be a Half-Life 3, Coomer said Valve hasn’t given up on the series.
“There’s more to be said about the Half-Life universe. Alyx is an example.”
Coomer also stated that he would like to develop a new Portal game someday, a game world worth further exploration.
