UUP Media Creator is an open-source tool for scanning and obtaining updates from Microsoft’s Unified Update Platform (also known as UUP), which helps users obtain Windows 10 and Windows 11 updates and installation files from different distribution channels (Insider and Production). UUP Media Creator was recently updated with version 3.1.9.0, which updates UUPDownload so as to resolve the recently released Windows 11 Moment 4 download issue, and the new version is now available for download from GitHub, the changelog shows:
A new version of UUP Media Creator has just been released, designed to solve the critical issue of not being able to download all files and create a setup file for Windows 11 version 23H2 (Moment 4).
If you encounter an error creating this file, restart the uupdownload command, which will automatically download some of the missing files and will not redownload existing files, and then restart the conversion command with the new version.UUP Media Creator consists of two programs: UUPDownload and UUPMediaConverter. This update involves UUPDownload.
This update involves UUPDownload, which helps users scan, acquire and download Windows files from different sources, and UUPMediaConverter, which helps users convert downloaded files into images for installing or creating startup utilities using other programs (such as Rufus).
Unlike Microsoft’s official MCT tool, UUP Media Creator is not exclusive to Windows but is also available for Linux and macOS.
