US government claims Huawei can access their military and missile database

We have seen a lot of drama in the technology world, this time the US government claims Huawei can access their core defence database. This allegation all boils down to the trade war between China and the US government. Unfortunately, Huawei has become the company that receives all the hard lashes from the US government and its allies.

The accusations of Huawei being a threat to national security is one that begun some years ago. Since the first allegation, there has been no credible evidence to prove Huawei guilty. As a result, Huawei is now a spy tool for the government of its country in the eyes of many.

Just recently, the current administration of the US government claims Huawei equipment is spying on their military activities. The US authorities say that the pieces of equipment in question can obtain sensitive data and relay these data back to the Chinese government.

The US government plans to protect its vital information from getting into the wrong hands. Doing this will involve the removal of all Huawei equipment from the country and restricting its business dealings with any company in affiliation with the US. Certainly, this removal and replacement of Huawei technology will cost the country some money.

All American companies that will directly feel the effect of this removal and replacement will receive compensation from the government. So far, we know that the initial cost estimate for this Huawei removal has more than doubled. Now, the total cost is ranging up to $4.98 billion as against an initial $1.84 billion.

Over the years these accusations have lingered, and Huawei has stood its ground on not being guilty of the allegations. The Chinese embassy in the US has also condemned this action, referring to it as an abuse of the concept of national security. Possibly, this saga can come to an end over a simple dialogue. If this happens, both sides of the conflict win and can continue their business activities without fear of the other.
