Upcoming Huawei 5G smartphone with 5G EMBB Technology spotted online

Huawei has reportedly started working on its upcoming smartphone. The smartphone, on which the brand has been working, has now been certified by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This also aims towards the imminent launch of the device. We can expect some official announcements from the brand in the upcoming days.

Huawei’s upcoming 5G smartphone listed on CMIIT certification

The network access licence for this device is dated October 18 and it has the model number NOH-AN80. The gadget is a dual-card dual-standby mobile phone, according to the network access information. Additionally, it is compatible with the NR NSA, NR SA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, CDMA 2000, CDMA 1X, and GSM standards. Plus, this gadget is compatible with eMBB (5G-enhanced mobile broadband) technology. It uses Huawei’s very own HarmonyOS as its operating system.

There isn’t a lot of information available right now concerning this 5G smartphone. This device appears to be a member of the Mate series based on the model number. There seem to be connections to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. The model number for the Huawei Mate 40 Standard Edition is OCE-AN00. The Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ have the model numbers NOH-AN00 and NOP-AN00, respectively. The Mate 50 series is Huawei’s most recent flagship model.

We can expect some official announcements from the brand in the forthcoming days. The launch will, obviously, happen in mainland China first. We are unsure if the brand has any plans to later launch the devices in the global market or not.
