UMIDIGI C1&G1 launched with Android 12 Go

UMIDIGI C1&G1 devices are now the newest and most affordable devices in the company’s smartphone line. These devices, the C1 and G1 just launched with a sub 700 yuan price tag. UMIDIGI stuck with the design language that it launched with the A13 series on both devices. There is a slight difference between the two devices, but this difference boils down to user preferences.

UMIDIGI C1&G1 specifications and features

UMIDIGI C1&G1

These devices drop off some features from the UMIDIGI A13, hence providing an even cheaper device. One of their major selling points is the massive, 5150mAh battery. The two devices share the same specifications with no exception.

  • Screen: 6.52-inch HD ultra-large screen.
  • Processor: Quad-Core MTK6739 processor.
  • Storage: 2GB/32GB.
  • Main Camera: Dual setup with a 13MP main camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
  • Front Camera: 5MP front-facing camera.
  • Battery: 5150mAh battery.
  • Operating System: Android 12 Go.
  • Biometrics: None.

The major differences between these two devices is in their design. Although they share the same design, the edges of the C1 are curved while the G1 is flat. As we said earlier, the purchase of either device boils down to user preferences.

UMIDIGI C1&G1 price and availability

Either device that a buyer chooses, they pay the same entry-level price. But, to identify each device, UMIDIGI gave different colour options with each device. The C1 comes in Starry Black, Hawaii Blue, and Matte Silver colour options. The G1 comes in Starry Black, Galaxy Blue, and Sunglow Gold colour options. Both devices will retail at 657 yuan (~$98) and will be available on the UMIDIGI AliExpress store from June 27.
