At the Microsoft Xbox Game Showcase and Starry Sky Face-to-face meeting, Ubisoft released the first trailer for its open-world Star Wars game.
The game is called Star Wars: Outlaws and will be released in 2024. The game timeline is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Experience an all-new story that takes place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Many classic or brand new planets in the galaxy are waiting for your exploration. You will play as Kay Weiss - a budding villain - and along with your good partner Nix, in search of freedom in a dangerous universe, trying to start a new life. Fight, steal or outwit your way through the major criminal groups of the galaxy and get on the most wanted list of the Galactic Empire.
Opportunities abound throughout the galaxy, as long as you're adventurous.
According to previous reports, Ubisoft internally uses “Project Helix” as the development code of the new “Star Wars” work, which is co-produced by “The Division 2” developer Massive Entertainment studio and Lucasfilm Games.
The news also said that “Star Wars: Outlaws” is expected to have a universe-level open map, which is similar to “No Man’s Sky”, where players can swim through the entire universe and customize characters according to their preferences.
