Twitter Safety team released an announcement on Wednesday, saying the “Freedom of Speech Not Reach” initiative has achieved significant results, currently 99.99% of tweets are healthy content, or content in line with community guidelines.
Twitter said it would take enforcement action for a small percentage of content that violates Twitter’s rules. The most severe violations, such as illegal content or harmful behaviour, will be dealt with by removing the content or deactivating the account.
Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino retweeted the retweet as follows, “Our commitment to our community is simple and straightforward — to uphold free speech and make Twitter a safe space for everyone. “
