Turkey’s first pure electric smart SUV model TOGG T10X has been officially listed on the road, which marks that Turkey has officially become the first country in the Middle East with independent research and development and production capacity of new energy vehicles.
Pre-orders for this model started on March 16, with a guide price starting at 953,000 lire (currently about 338,700 yuan).
It is reported that the electric car has aroused enthusiastic responses in the local auto retail market as soon as it came out, and has received more than 170,000 orders so far. In order to meet the needs of domestic consumers, the manufacturer has increased the production plan for this year from the original 12,000 to 20,000.
The Turkish government expects that TOGG’s series of models will basically meet the domestic market demand and be exported overseas by 2025, and the total output is expected to exceed the million mark by 2030. According to the analysis of industry experts, the new energy vehicle industry will contribute at least US$50 billion to the Turkish economy in the next 15 years and reduce the national fiscal deficit by US$7 billion.
According to reports, Togg T10X is user-centric and can be connected to the Internet through its smart life solution for OTA remote updates. With 160 kW / 218 HP and 350 Nm of torque, the T10X RWD (rear-wheel drive) has a range of 314 and 523 kilometers.
In addition, the T10X also has a dual motor 435 horsepower AWD all-wheel drive version, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds and produce 700 Nm of torque, but this model will be delivered with the 100th-anniversary special series (2023 29 October).
The data shows that the 52.4 kWh version of the T10X offers energy consumption values of 16.7 kWh/100 km (WLTP), while the 88.5 kWh battery version has an energy consumption value of 16.9 kWh/100 km (WLTP).
In terms of pricing, the T10X V1 RWD standard battery life version is 953,000 liras, the V2 RWD standard battery life version is 1,055,000 lires, and the V2 RWD long battery life version is 1,215,000 lires.
