The report said that TV shipments grew mainly due to strong sales of Chinese brands during the 618 period and better-than-expected sales of some Chinese brands in overseas markets.
TrendForce said that the impact of rising panel prices, this year’s 32 to 75-inch TV 618 prices rose 10-20% compared to the double 11 period. Hisense and TCL second quarter shipments grew 21.2 percent and 19.7 percent, respectively. Among them, Hisense set a new single-quarter shipment record of 7.25 million units, an annual increase of 33.3 percent, the best performance among all TV brands.
