TP-Link releases Kasa KP125M smart plug: $40 for a two-pack

TP-Link today officially launched the Kasa KP125M smart plug, which can monitor energy efficiency in real-time. The plug supports the Matter smart home protocol and can access HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings, among others.

The Kasa Smart KP125M offers smart scheduling and timer functions, plus it can be used to monitor energy consumption over time.

TP-Link officials say the KP125M is a compact, flame-retardant design that connects via Bluetooth and supports voice command control such as Siri. The smart plug is now available on Amazon for $40 for a two-piece package (currently about RMB 275).
