In terms of production, Toyota’s global production was also lower than in previous years for the first time since December 2022 – 737,178 vehicles were produced in the month, a year-on-year decrease of 3%.
According to the Nikkei Shimbun, Toyota’s subsidiaries Daihatsu Industrial and Toyota Automatic Looming Machinery stopped shipments due to certification violations, resulting in a significant reduction in Toyota’s sales in Japan and a negative impact.
